Not to BEE missed is the all-new Phoenix touring production of Broadway’s H-I-L-A-R-I-O-U-S hit musical comedy THE TWENTY FIFTH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE set to launch this October on a Colorado Rocky Mountain high! Featuring the original work of Director James Lapine and Choreographer Dan Knechtges , the TONY Award winning SPELLING BEE is guaranteed to spread sheer delight to audiences throughout North America. FAME MEETS CHINA! The worldwide stage phenomenon known affectionately as FAME – THE MUSICAL will be sweeping mainland China in the coming season when Phoenix teams with Nederlander New Century in presenting the first Mandarin language production of this classic American musical. With rehearsals already under way at the Beijing Central Academy, this ground breaking new venture will begin performances in mid-October following the summer Olympic Games.
